The Greensboro Arboretum is one of Greensboro's true hidden gems. The beautifully maintained gardens, winding walking paths, and diverse collection of plants create a peaceful escape from the bustle of everyday life. Best of all, admission is free, making it an ideal destination for families, couples, photographers, and anyone who enjoys spending time outdoors. The gardens are thoughtfully designed, with seasonal blooms ensuring there's always something new to see throughout the year. Benches and shaded areas provide perfect spots to relax, while the well-kept paths make it easy to explore at your own pace. Visitors consistently praise the Arboretum for its tranquil atmosphere, beautiful landscaping, and accessibility. Whether you're looking for a quiet morning walk, a picnic, or simply a chance to reconnect with nature, the Greensboro Arboretum offers a memorable experience. It's a wonderful community treasure that showcases the beauty of North Carolina's plant life and is well worth a visit.

Great spot to take a walk in the woods. All the trees and bushes have their names on plaques which was a really like touch.

Great garden with beautiful scenery, open and shaded areas.

Cute and pretty small. Lovely if you are l8cql and you just want to walk on the short trails. But not a true arboretum. Besides it is by the highway and the car noise overpower the few birds you might hear... and right under power lines. Poorly managed and obviously no knowledge of what a arboretum is

I randomly found this place on Google Maps. This place is so beautiful. Free admission and parking. A perfect place to ground, enjoy fresh air or walk your leashed pet. A great place for nature lovers and bird watchers. There's a basketball court and baseball field at the entrance of the arboretum. There's restrooms on-site and plenty of benches throughoutthe garden. I believe I saw a nice bike trail as well. I will be back πŸ’•
